The Halfway Home

At the Halfway Home live young women from the Girls Centre or those, who arrived very late at Akany Avoko without a school education. At Halfway Home they are integrated in a daily working process and are introduced how to run a small business to gain money for a self sufficient life. They learn how to make handicrafts like bags, paper cards, dried fruits and a lot more. They gain their own income by selling the handicrafts in a small shop at the Halfway Home. The goal is to make them able to run their own business.
