Gregor Frey "Baby-Zebra" as Mr. Fix-it       (only in english)

My volunteers-book entry at AA:

For the children and the staff of Akany Avoko and all others I met during my stay in Madagascar. First of all I'd like to say thank you very much, because the time that I spent with you was one of the most impressing and well-being in my life. Misaotra betsaka!
When I rememper my 10h flight from Paris to Tana I have to laugh, because I almost got into a panic. I didn't really know what Akany Avoko expects me to do and what kind of machines I'll have to fix. Now I am sure, whatever your job is at Akany Avoko, there are always helping hands and working brains to support you and your work. Just come here and give what you have to give and you'll see it is much more than you expected. Akany Avoko helps not only the children growing, also the people who come here to share skills or just to spend time, leave this center at the end much bigger. Bigger in understanding, bigger in mind and a bigger heart with all the children in it. The great spirit of Akany Avoko lives solidarity and love at its most authentic. To see how the staff cares for the children as they would be their own makes me feel proud that I could be a part of it. Akany Avoko gave me the feeling to be a member of this special family and I realy feel like a brother now. For that great gift I am very thankful and I will support Akany Avoko in any way I can and of course I will come back.

Thanks for everything and lost of love

Gregor
