Voluntary work is special gift

Akany Avoko is always grateful for people who come to work voluntarily in the centre and bring some new ideas and skills to Akany Avoko, the staff and the children. Whether they take care of the babies or help to teach the children languages or skills or if they work in the environment projects or for the entertainment of the children, even just to be there and to play, hug or giggle and share time, every contribution is a great gift. Every idea to reduce the costs of the centre or to generate new incomes is needed and an important participation to improve life at Akany Avoko. But don't forget, that it needs a lot of tolerance and modesty to come to Madagascar and to live in Akany Avoko, so don't decide thoughtlessly. The interests of Akany Avoko and the children should be in your attention and not your personal entertainment or holiday feeling. But if you come to Akany Avoko with an open heart and mind, you will find a small paradise island in the middle of Madagascar where solidarity and love are practiced at its most authentic.
